Nightstar Wave Clan Leader

Personality: Nightstar comes off as a cold and uncaring cat, which can almost describe him perfectly. How would you feel after the murders of half your family and then forced into a life as a prisoner? Nightstar grew up in such a life and learned right off to hide his emotions. Despite all of this though, deep down, he is still the scared kit he was on that faithful day.

Reason for lives: Nightstar only has one life at the moment beacuse he has never gone to Star Clan to get his nine lives. Reason he doesn't know he has to, or that Star Clan exists. Cloudhopper died before he could get that far with Wavestar.

Bio:
Nightstar was only a small kit, the runt of the litter, when his father, Wavestar, finally found an area to settle. They were a family of four, Nightstar, who was Shade at the time, Ruby, Night's sister, Maggie, Night's mother and former Kitty-pet, and Wave, Night's father and a rouge. When Night and Ruby were able to explore on their own they bumped into a rather large group of cats. The two small kits yelled in terror and raced to find their parents. Some of the group had chased after them and attacked Maggie and Wave on sight. Night was knocked out during the shuffle. Only when he awoke in his father's arms a few days later did he learn that the two were now prisoners and that his mother and sister had been killed. Moons passed and Wave trained his son carefully and in secrete of the captors. Night was taught to fight to the death, never give in on your believe, never turn your back on anyone, and to NEVER trust anyone outside of family. Night grew fast and followed his father's rules to the letter, only until he met Swift, the large group's leader's daughter. Wave was outraged at first to hear that his son had fallen for the she, but it soon turned to Wave being proud of his son. After a few more moons Swift had become pregnant with Night's kits. In short the groups leader was less then pleased, but he didn't know the father, so the kits were safe. One the day they were born though, the leader decided to make an example of Swift and her newly borns. The old tom ordered Wave to kill Swift. With some eternal struggle Wave stood his ground for protecting Swift instead of killing her. The leader was outraged and started to attack Wave and Swift. When Night, who was out with a hunting party at the time, got back and saw what was happening he snapped and launched at the leader. At the end of the fight, all but one of Night and Swift's kits were dead and the leader had breathed his last. In more shock and fear the large group did nothing to hinder the small band of wounded cats from leaving. A couple of nights after though Night found out they were being followed. It was just a small group of cats from the group he and his family had just left. They said that they wanted to join Night, they were all being bullied by the Leader and seeked a better life. Wave was hesitant to let the cats join but in the end the promise of safety in numbers one out. The small band of cats soon came across a large open area that was well suited to hold a good number of cats. It was there that they met Cloudhopper, a lone suriviour of a wolf attack. He told them about the area and about Clan life. Wave ether didn't care or didn't hear him, but he chose the area for their new home, and took the idea of clan life. He was named Wavestar and Cloudhopper as his deputy. Shade was renamed as Nightwave, for him being around 14 moons at the time. It wasn't soon after that when Swiftfoot, Swift, and Soulkit, Night's only son, died from infection. Nightwave was devastated to see them go. It was even harder when Cloudhopper died from a snake bit only three days later. Wavestar named Nightwave his deputy but the old tom did have the time to see how his son would act out of the chains of being a prisoner. Wavestar died of old age and Nightwave mourned his loss. Not knowing what to do Nightwave spent most of his time just thinking. One night though a small she came to him and helped Nightwave to become Nightstar, second leader of Wave Clan.
